Programs and Services

The vision of The Salvation Army Oshkosh is to provide effective social and spiritual services to the greater Oshkosh community area in collaboration with community partners. Located downtown across from the courthouse, the Oshkosh Salvation Army provides food pantry services to nearly one in ten Oshkosh households and provides roughly 50,000 meals each year to those not capable of feeding themselves due to disability or poverty. Seasonal programs, like our Toy Shop, pictured above, and Coats for Kids allow those experiencing temporary financial crisis to live in dignity and to be able to provide their children with the essentials of a healthy childhood. See below for a listing of current Salvation Army Oshkosh programs and services:
Birthday Club
Every child deserves their special day, regardless of their parents’ financial situation. The Salvation Army Oshkosh Birthday Club program provides free toys, ice cream and cake to client children on their birthday.
Community Hot Meal
Approximately 50,000 meals are prepared and served free of charge by The Salvation Army Oshkosh to those who can’t feed themselves either due to poverty or disability.

Holiday Programs
Seasonal programs like Adopt a Family, Coats for Kids, and Toys for Tots help ensure every Oshkosh area child can enjoy the holidays regardless of their parents’ financial situation.

Sunday Service
The Salvation Army Oshkosh provides Sunday Services as well as a free post-service meal each Sunday morning.
